Please TAKE NOTICE that the Annual General Meeting will be held on April 14th at 6:00 pm at Uplands Golf Club. Your input will be important to the future of the club.

Review and approval of the budged for 2026 - 2027
Budget/finance report

Review and elect the Board of Directors as recommended by our Nomination Committee.

Treasurer: Tim Evans

Secretary: Rob Hehn

Directors: Colm Foy, Rick McKay, Paul Koopman, Terry Fauteux.

Terry Fauteux will ask if there are any further Nominations from the floor. If there are, an election will be held by Secret Ballot.

Lady Gyro Spring Lunch (24 Apr 2026)

To celebrate Spring, you are invited to the Ladies Spring Lunch, Friday, April 24, at 12:00 noon at Bill Mattick’s Restaurant!

If you are able to attend, please note the following:

We are required to provide a credit card for the group booking, and will be charged $25 per person for any no-shows or cancellations less than 3 hours before the event starts.
If you need to cancel after registration closes on April 20, you must do this by 12pm on Thursday, April 23 through the Camosun Gyro website or if you miss this deadline, by sending an email directly to mjlsing@proton.me prior to 9am on Friday, April 24.
If we are charged a fee because you registered and didn't cancel, Camosun Gyro will invoice you for the $25 charge, which can be paid by cheque or e-transfer.
Each attendee pays for her own lunch.
This is a no guest event (only Lady Gyros and Golden Girls).

We look forward to catching up with those who are able to join us for lunch!

Kick off the weekend with warm greetings, light bites, and refreshing drinks in a relaxed, casual setting. Direct parking with golf cart transport if necessary.

Installation - Saturday (2 May 2026)

Join us to celebrate Camosun's 78th anniversary and the installation of as our new president, Illarion Gallant

Destination is Uplands Golf Club at 3300 Cadboro Bay Road arriving at 5:00pm for cocktails and dinner at 6:00 pm. Installation will be at 7:00 and dancing at 8:00

No charge for Camosun Gyros, Lady Gyros and Golden Girls. Please don't forget to add the number of guests that will be with you.

Guest cost is $250 a couple/$125 per person for all three events or $75 for Non Camosun Gyros, Lady Gyros and Golden Girls for Saturday.

Please advise if you wish a vegetarian option by reply to this invitation.

Please report any dietary difficulties to a server upon arrival.

There is no charge for Camosun members, Lady Gyros,and Golden girls. The cost for guest will be $35 for this Sunday event.

Our annual Steak Dinner with Potato Salad, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, apple Pie and ice cream is on once again on Tuesday June 16th. If you prefer Chicken, please let Tim know by replying to this email. Wine, Beer and soft drinks will also be available. Just bring your appetite.

This year the event will be held at Stu Cameron's house and we will once again have the Bocce ball tournament. Bring a toonie. Also it can be cool at Stu's place so bring a warm jacket as the event is outdoors.

Please save the parking in the driveway for those that have mobility issues. Parking is available on the street.

This is a great opportunity to bring a guest($50) and have them meet our members at what is always a very fun event.

Please register ASAP so we have the numbers and can ensure we have enough food and beverage. Registration will close Sunday June 15th at the end of day.
