Our speaker is the sports writer for the Times Colonist, Cleve Dheensaw.
Cleve Dheensaw has been covering sports for the Times Colonist since 1981. His more than 40 years of stories on Island athletes and events earned him induction into the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame in 2020 as first inductee into the media category who spent his entire career outside the Vancouver market.
Cleve is the author of six books about the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, B.C. lacrosse history and the history of sport on Vancouver Island.
A native of Vancouver Island, Cleve is a graduate of Victoria High School and the University of Victoria.
