Our speaker will be John Ducker, probably best known as the Times Colonist weekly Driving Columnist. Each Friday insightful commentary is offered on all facets and dimensions of driving based on years of experience. John Ducker's biography reflects a life dedicated to public service and community engagement. He served as deputy police chief in Victoria and was involved in various social justice causes. He is an honorary Lieutenant Colonel of the 5th British Columbia Artillery Regiment and has been a long-time member of the St. Peter and Paul community in Esquimalt. John's interests include history and photography and has been involved in many social justice causes, including the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness and the Victoria Integrated Community Outreach Team.
